How about toilet paper? Some brands seen like they are down to about 2” plus see through thin.
The day may be coming soon when the petroleum companies switch from gallons at the pump to liters.

They will rename them sliders.
Before hamburgers they had meatball sandwiches that took longer to cook. A customer said he was in a hurry so the cook flattened his meat ball and the slider/burger was born, along with White Castle.
