I’m not offended, I just pointed out that it’s stupid. Unlike an ICE-powered car, an EV isn’t burning gas or electricity while stuck in traffic; if anything, a traffic jam is the best use case for an EV.

The idea was that some Ev’s could be using electricity even at standstill...heating, a/c, windows, ...and one could have no power if not charged enough or if running low on power.
Now that making synthetic cleaner gasoline from atmospheric co2 and water is possible...the need for Ev’s may decline.

that's not the gist of this.
It started as "If all cars were electric..."
talking about running out of juice and the complications of that if in a traffic jam.
it's not possible for a battery to be run out of juice during a traffic jam?
