I have put 40,000 miles on a Tesla Model S.
Charge at home most of the time. I travel a large territory so I occasionally have to stop at a super charger. Fifteen minutes gets 180 miles in battery. Charging slows down after that. Car finds super charger for you and adds to route.
I bought the car for safety(best self driving car I could find) but was amazed how well everything worked.
Much of the Green deal is BS but at least Tesla can make the car work and will be making 18 Wheeler work shortly.
Did you run the A/C?
That said, I have concerns about the life span of the batteries and what happens when they're used up.
When you are in a hurricane evacuation traffic jam that stretches over a couple of states you will have FEMA on your side. It’ll be fine.
Let’s see a battery powered air foce won for
president elect to set the example on/in.
then we’ll talk about ton miles per ton of battery.
Long sigh......
