Hello! Thanks for the good wishes. We made it! Brutal drive. Moving truck came yesterday. The new house feels like hoarders live here haha. But I have internet!

My violin has a story. It’s about 100 yrs old and sounds like a dream (when someone other than me plays lol). I had left it on the hearth in the old home and when we went to pack the RV, no violin. It had to be on the truck. But I was sweatin’ a bit, the driver was sweatin’ a bit, my move coordinator was sweatin’ a bit. I thought I saw it listed on the inventory as “black plastic case”?? We took all the music instruments in the RV (except the violin).

So it took all day to unpack that truck. Everyone is keeping their eye out for my violin lol. Get to the end, NO VIOLIN. I really didn’t think anyone would have stolen it. So they are setting up this entertainment center upstairs in the loft and my son looked in one part of the entertainment center, behind a pack of paper towels, and THERE IT WAS!! Everyone clapped lol and I cried a bit I was so relieved.

Great dogs on either side of us. People are friendly. The guy across the street is a “Hey, I’ve got ya covered if the s*** hits the fan.” Big 2nd amendment guy. The other guy across the street is an internet deputy. Don’t know about either side.

The property is flat 2 acres and totally fenced in for the dogs. They are in dog park heaven.

We aren’t sleeping in the house yet, still the RV. I’ll probably be sporadic here and there.
