I hope that hospital gets sued six ways from Sunday and I hope people go to jail or worse that ok’d this and perpetrated it. Nothing short of murder. How can seemingly educated people be so incredibly heartless?
Money and government interference in the market. Ever since laws were passed prohibiting hospitals from turning away ER patients to Obamacare to the present. Hospitals, even so called non-profits, see Covid as way to shore up their balance sheets with government and its propaganda arm MSM approving. So even if patient had heart disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer et al but tested positive for Covid, the hospital could classify it as Covid under gov. regs and get paid for it as Covid. Would bet the payment as Covid cover more than just one patient’s medical cost and pays for some of the “free” healthcare the hospital would have had to write-off. Its insidious but not surprising given today’s environment created IMO due to excessive government interference in healthcare.
