My personal choice over the past few years is The Bible.
Man, is that Psalms 23 getting dogeared.....

I find myself leaning on Psalm 46 quite a bit - God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in trouble...

Agreed. I've begun reading the Bible more and that's the book that makes the difference in my stress level. The other books are a relief to read about something other than the kind of content we are daily exposed to.
In addition to reading the Bible more, I looked up some old hymns on Youtube and have downloaded traditional versions of the ones I like. I let the various versions of a hymn play on through in the background until I hear one that perks me up and download that one.
AAAannd I've been watching some Christian videos. Nothing was really grabbing me - didn't match my mood, until I came across some Michael Heiser videos and one of those held my rapt attention.
Before I made a conscious decision to spend more time focusing on the Bible lately, I was really getting burned out. We live an odd life in the cyber trenches and it seems 'normal' by now but it aint. Can't just read/post about 'them' all day and not have it get to ya.
I feel quite restored now, and it started with Psalm 23, as you mentioned....
