I have to wonder why Sean Hannity, or for that matter, the late Rush Limbaugh, President Trump, and other conservatives would move to Palm Beach County, which is part of the very left-leaning southeast Florida area. The last GOP Presidential candidate to win the county was the elder George Bush in 1988. The Gulf side of Florida, such as Naples, is far more conservative. Trump won Collier County by 24 percentage points in 2020. He won Monroe County by eight percentage points despite the county having ultra-liberal Key West in its boundaries. You would think that these prominent conservatives would prefer a more hospitable political environment.

The Gulf side of Florida, such as Naples, is far more conservative. True, it's the "Republican" Palm Beach on the East Coast with lots of great areas. There is a difference though, we go back and forth, each has pluses and minuses.

Reverse business psychology. If the libs were going to protect their voting base in Florida, would they drive it out with taxes and laws or let it run it’s course with their protective overseeing. And they can’t dissect one piece of land to pick on. They would have to leave high profile conservatives alone or get noticed with the attacks nationally and obvious. They live there and the liberals have built their wall for them.

My Monroe (R) vote for Trump was rejected.
