Influenza virus via the eyes. Yes (you).

Herpes virus via the eyes. Yes (me).

Covid virus via the eyes. No (you).
What?
Even people who are not a scientist or medical professional should question that "conclusion" simply on a common sense test basis.
The mucus membranes of the eyes are vulnerable to countless other viruses, bacteria and fungi, but they block covid somehow? How does that work?
Why do you assume that "surface contact infection" is the ONLY way someone can get covid in the eyes? Why are you stuck on that singular mode of potential transmission for a virus?
What makes you think that? I certainly didn't bring up that topic here.

Do you have evidence to say that is fake news or fake science?
Do you have evidence that says virus that lands on your face is exempt from your eyes?

Your belief that Covid enters through the mucus membranes is based on your desire for it to be so. But science doesn’t bear that out. Covid is spread through the air.
