Just think how much trouble taking care of goats, milking them, having to deal with the offspring they'll have so you can have the milk....24/7! LOL
Does kinda put it all in perspective, doesn't it? That's how I talked myself out of getting a homestead.
I don’t know how the pioneers did it. And then they went inside and kneaded bread by hand. Or drug their laundry to the creek.

Now I actually can’t wait to go back to Asheville! I’ll have to research around the vet place and see where the gas stations are. The funny thing is that Corduroy is not very stressed when he sees the ophthalmologist. I think he likes her. So stopping a few extra times before and after should be fine. I’ll go to more gas stations when I take the dog over for a hike. He’s a lot more easy-going. As long as I have the leash and he thinks he gets to go somewhere
