May 2025 is retirement travel trailer time!

If I knew for sure I planned on staying here, I would probably do things a bit differently. But any improvements are with one eye on resale, with the biggest bang for the smallest buck.

I could probably just rent out the house instead of selling, but I don’t want the hassle of maintenance and dealing with a renter (can’t imagine what landlords have been doing the past year!) plus I probably wouldn’t come back here to retire when I decide to stop traveling.

“May 2025 is retirement travel trailer time!”

I’m excited for you!

We rented out a condo for a while - it was the biggest pain. Using a service would be easier, but is also very expensive. If you are looking for a place to move to, I also see no reason to keep the house.

If you find yourself driving east, come by and see us. I’ll show you around and if you are into outdoor activity or just looking at beautiful scenery, you might want to consider this place. But with all the people moving here, prices may not be so low. But who knows - they could all move out by then!

We found with all the houses we’ve sold - move in ready is key. People don’t want the hassle of moving AND remodeling. Or even just painting or cleaning. So anything you do that makes it look ready to move in will help sell it faster and for more. It doesn’t even have to be an expensive fix, like you said.
