I always miss the obvious
Per Sen @FannKfann, TODAY 5/18, the AZ Senate will hold a hearing to get an update on the audit from the vendor, address the questions submitted to #AZSEN & the written response from Maricopa Co BOS. The meeting will start at 1 pm MT live streamed here:https://t.co/o4sjWgX6xR— Dr. Kelli Ward 🇺🇸 (@kelliwardaz) May 18, 2021
Why do we need #AmericasAudit? Doug Logan explains that the Maricopa testing earlier this year was to determine if the correct software was used - basically a logic & accuracy test of about 100 ballots. The State Senate audit is dealing with procedures and results of ~2.1M votes.
We need documentation of chain of custody between the Nov election & when they were transported to #AzAudit on 4/21/21 & 4/22/21. I’d also certainly like the auditors to see the chain of custody during early voting as well. #AmericasAudit
Procedures regarding handling ballots could differ from county to county as long as they comply with requirements in state statue. #AmericasAudit
County atty LaRue stated that routers were on their way one day & reneged the next day. Offered “virtual access” & logs instead which was MC position for over 2 weeks. Then they came up with the false excuse that routers were attached to other depts & so no access has been given.
No routers, no virtual access, no splunk logs, no detailed logs have been turned over by Maricopa County despite being ordered to comply with subpoena by AZ Courts.
Voter data cannot be compromised by turning over routers.
Were election related machines connected to the internet? According to expert testimony, if they were connected to the Maricopa County network (as claimed by BOS & Sheriff) which IS connected to the internet then it is likely that they were.😱
Why do paper ballots in boxes from Maricopa County not match the digital reports?🤔
ARS 16-621 addresses damaged and defective ballots. All duplicated ballots shall be clearly labeled & include a serial number matching the duplicate. They’ve found them on the dupes ballots but not on the originals. They should match 1:1 and they do NOT. Extremely #concerning!
County won’t accept simple questions directly from the auditors. Jack Sellers made it clear yesterday that he’s not going to answer anyone. #AboveTheLaw?
Paper ballots are usually sealed within bags. County says they stack them all together when they archive them. Statute says must be sealed when transferred from voting center to counting location so maybe this lax, disorganized style isn’t illegal but it is certainly sloppy.
Blank paper or paper with one or two numbers is not sufficient to match batches reliably. And the county doing every box differently is also problematic. It should be easy to match batches to reports.
Statute requires the ability to sort down to the precinct level for every vote. Federal law requires paper ballots, images, & election materials must be retained for 22 months. They should be properly organized for that entire time, don’t you agree?
Only security key and poll worker access to the tabulators was given to auditors. Auditors must be able to determine the configuration of each tabulator & for that they need technician or administrator access & it hasn’t been given. Those credentials are in the sole possession of 2 Dominion contractors per MC. Pro V&V says tabulators did not touch the internet but can’t be proven by MC or audits. County cannot verify or deny if there were Verizon wireless cards in the machines. They are not in control of the election results. Who is?
All evidence shows that some Maricopa Co election databases were deleted but auditors report that they have access to what is needed due to the digital recovery efforts they’ve made! #Experts!
Fact Check: there were NO blue pens used when ballots were on the floor.
The only attempted breach of security at #AmericasAudit was a man pretending to be a member of the press (twice) & he was turned away BUT THEN the Sec of State’s office gave this breacher observer status.
Security is maximum at the #AzAudit. Chain of custody, transparency, armed guards, professionalism.
Auditors expect to finish counting before the end of June.
Maricopa County is doing a disservice to the people they serve by obstructing & refusing to communicate respectfully w/ auditors & Senators. Thank you to @FannKfann, @votewarren, @BennettArizona, & the professional audit team for working diligently to restore #VoterConfidence!
Cyber Ninjas made it crystal clear: having access to the secondary password for the tabulation equipment in no way, shape, or form gives them access to source code. Provide the password!
Senator @votewarren is correct - Arizona is doing the first full forensic audit on an American election. Other states are watching & learning. And that’s exactly what the Left fears. Katie Hobbs let that slip when she Wasko with Rachel Maddow (OMG other states might follow!).
Ensuring that our election are secure, accurate, & transparent is #Priceless!
Some good news out of the hearing. Cyfir testified the deleted database has been recovered by the forensic auditors.
LG~~Not even one of the MC Board of Supervisors showed up to this meeting they had been summoned to by the President of the Senate.
The Senate President says the dispute over elections isn’t personal. The subpoena, the attempt to hold the Board in contempt w/ possible jail time, and the @ArizonaAudit lie that the county deleted files all suggest otherwise.— Maricopa County (@maricopacounty) May 18, 2021
FYI:
Personal: name calling & falsely attributing motives to state senators & voters
Not personal: legislative subpoenas, consequences for contempt, asking questions about irregularities in election & post election processes https://t.co/Wufd6OlQUP— Dr. Kelli Ward 🇺🇸 (@kelliwardaz) May 18, 2021
