“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she’ll continue to require members to wear a mask on the chamber floor, despite a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendation Thursday that fully-vaccinated people can remove their COVID-19 face-covering when indoors.
Pelosi, a Democrat who as speaker presides over the chamber, is keeping the rule because she’s uncertain whether all members are vaccinated, considering some Republicans have said they won’t get the shots.
“No. Are they all vaccinated?” Pelosi told CNN when asked by CNN following the CDC announcement about whether she’d relax the rule.”
Pelosi would be the first one asking for papers.
