Thanks, Gran! I hope it sells fast, but closes end of August lol. That gives me lots of time to pack (and I need it!) plus I may actually have somewhere to move to in time!
Not sure about in your situation (being in a different country and all!) but here, I know the seller can stipulate a possession time in the contract. Like, possession in 30 days after closing. Or, you may be able to pay the buyer an agreed-upon monthly rental amount until you can get moved.
