Good to hear from you, Dolly.
A heartfelt Happy Mother’s Day to you and to all of the mom’s on the Trump Train.
Here’s to all of the mothers, especially those that get surprised by their kids today. Maybe somebody finds their way back home after a long absence or picks up the phone for the first time in a very long time and makes your day extra special with a call out of the blue.
My mom left this mortal coil on Dec. 22nd, 2005, and I miss her very much. She was a real joker because she died on my wedding anniversary, and who can forget a coincidence like that- eh? I’m divorced, so the irony was not lost on me. Thanks, mom!
My mom married a man that became my stepdad on my 11th birthday- July 19th, 1968... I wasn’t too happy about that coincidence.
I think my mom might have been trying to tell me to get over myself by timing her departure when she did, seeing how she gave me a father that I never had up to that point in my life. Weird how that, laws of the universe thing works, eh?
My sister invited me and my brother over to my niece’s house for Mother’s Day. We will be going into the lions den so to speak because they ALL are brainwashed BLM drones. Honestly, I’m still taking the invite under consideration and will have to see what my brother is contemplating doing in reaching a consensus.
Anyway, I miss my mom and there are no do-overs so man up everybody (lol) and give your mom a call or take a few minutes to say something nice about her if she is no longer with you.
Dolly! What a great meal you are fixing for your lucky housemate and her very fortunate offspring.
I hope that after all the effort, you’ll have your appetite and will be able to sit down and enjoy a very fine and relaxing meal that you’ve managed to prepare for everyone in your sphere of influence, on what is affectionately “your day.”
Git’ er’ dun’!
Thanks for the hard-won wisdom, FRiend.
Hope all goes well in the lion’s den.
We’ll expect an After-Action Report from you.
