Our longtime Realtor/friend has always said....the first offer is usually the best.

We sold a house, once, where there were bidding wars....but, the first bidders did end up being the highest, in that duel!

If you’re afraid you’ll wear out your welcome, with the kids, just bake/cook everyone’s fave meals, every day. They’ll want you to stay, IN the house, even longer!

Same here Jane, the first offer was the best. We had for backup offers but they were a little bit shy of full price.

Now.... trying to figure out how to spend the money. At least part of it. Do we make this house really upscale, like we did the last? Or hold back a little in case we don’t stay here forever. Don’t really know and it’s something we have to decide before we jump into it.
