Gun show! Woot woot! Have a rootin’ tootin’ shootin’ good time!
I got my two-year testing results today. All good - no cancer.
Found out some of the finishes of the mobile home - lol it’s so funny. Had to buy whatever they were making. It was the only one available, and was ordered by someone then they switched to a different one. So what ever was ordered is what I get. Thankfully, nice off-white Shaker kitchen cabinets. Home is a taupe/gray with white trim. Black roof. Floors are called “Super White”. I don’t know what that is, but I’m hoping it’s just a light colored laminate flooring....I guess I can always change it later.
Everything else seems good - honestly, at this point in time, as long as it’s nice looking and comfortable, I’m happy. I’ve had a large custom built home in the country, and a nice smaller one in the burbs.....I’ve got all that stuff out of my system. The only thing I will want now is ZERO CLUTTER!
I said to the kids the other day that this is a good move for another reason. When we old goats kick the bucket, usually the poor family has to go in and clean out years’ worth of “stuff”. It can make a trying time even more trying. This way it’s all done ahead of time!
Good for you, Judy!
I am a big fan of the “less is more” club.
Luckily Mrs. exit82 and I are usually on the same page about this.
In three moves over 15 years, we got rid of so much stuff with each move, it was mind-boggling.
It’s just stuff.
Death cleaning!!!
I lived in a manufactured home before moving to this house. I suspect you might find it better insulated than your current place. And I really liked that the cabinets were a bit lower than the ones I have here in this house.
I played a bit and didn’t find a ‘super white’ but found a ‘super gloss white’ which appears to be a solid white (no grain) plank look floor. So sounds like a farmhouse or cottage look would fit well.
I didn’t know you are a cancer survivor Judy, that’s great your test came back good!
I need to get rid of junk too, but it’s hard.
