Probably their dad’s stupidity turned them to the right. Both my parents were so left they still believed that the USSR was great.
As a result, I have never been a commie leftist.
I met a Young Republican girl in California once that told me the same thing. Said her parents were big liberals and she was rebelling by being conservative.

Yay! This is the types of things that need to be done to get things cleaned up. I know it won’t solve all the problems, but it’s a start.
Does Arizona keep its voter rolls pretty clean, do you know? Removing deceased people, etc.? I know people think that should be easy enough, but not always. I just found a person who worked as a teacher in our pension system a long time ago; pension system doesn’t have her as deceased. Her account is just sitting there. But, she’s 112 years old if still alive! Turns out she died in 1968 and they were never notified. I sent them her newspaper obit and copy of her headstone.
I’m going to start charging them auditor fees...
Wear a hoodie where there’s cameras. If you write write something like, “thanks Biden for doubling gas price” or “Warren Buffet shut down our pipeline for his railroad” or “Putin thanks Biden for opening his pipelines”, what law have you broken?

Another tip on the ‘fantasy self’ items you (generic you, not you you) can’t part with-
For something you can’t make yourself part with, for example a piece of exercise equipment, musical instrument, cheesemaking equipment *cough*....set yourself a deadline. For example, if I don’t use the exercise equipment within 30 days, it has to leave. (I do not have exercise equipment of any type!) Doesn’t matter the method of leaving, but it goes. And put the note about the deadline where you can see it, like on your fridge. If you REALLY care about doing the item, then you’ll do it. If you don’t really care, then you won’t.
For example, the cheesemaking equipment. Getting a goat and have milk to make cheese would take a while. Maybe there’s another way to meet the goal, which is cheesemaking. Maybe you can source some goat’s milk and just make the cheese. If raw milk is needed for that, you can’t buy it for human consumption, but it can be bought for ‘pet consumption’. You have pets so who’s to say otherwise? There are things called goat milk shares you can buy. Or maybe find someone who does have goats and wants to start making cheese. Maybe a barter-swap the equipment for a share of of cheese a month.
Well, I hope when the house is done, that you get offers that cover every penny spent and more. I’ll bet there won’t be much complaining then. And maybe even some satisfaction at the finished product.
