In 1982, Djémila became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Significant buildings in ancient Djemila include a Amphitheater , two fora, temples, basilicas, arches, streets, and houses. The exceptionally well preserved ruins surround the forum of the Harsh, a large paved square with an entry marked by a majestic arch.

This 3D Model is produced by the Zamani Project (University of Cape Town) as part of the "African Cultural Heritage Sites and landscapes" documentation project. It is derived from high resolution terrestrial Laser-Scan data and represents the site as is with cm accuracy and without any augmentation. 3D Animation based on Laserscans of the Roman Amphitheater in Djemila, Algeria | zamaniproject | October 4, 2016

A tolerably interesting video made much less tolerable by the caterwauling in the background, a omnipresent noise in the mid-east which seems to be entirely unavoidable outside five-star hotels.
