7) Sitting member of Congress travels to area, basically calls for civil unrest unless jurors vote guilty

In Minneapolis, a vote to acquit will directly and negatively impact the jurors, their families and friends. And people are organizing and agitating to maximize that factor. I know the agitators would still be doing this if the trial were moved, but Minneapolis is a worst case scenario.

A strong appeal assumes an independent legal system. That is a big assumption. The courts are either intimidated or woke too and unlikely to precipitate riots and action against them and their families.
