If we are to believe that we don't really know what these things are, we need to be shooting them down. Let's say they are Ruskies or Chinese, They are flying directly over our war ships and nuke sites. Do we want them to photograph and map our military facilities? You know any military man worth spit would have already tried to take them down.

Exactly! If this had been a legitemate video, we would have heard general quarters being sounded, or at least being acted upon, by a slew of missile contrails and/or airbursting shells in the vicinity of these "ufo's". More likely is that they are drones being operated by the US military, and guys on a naval ship, without the need to know of such technology pull out a video camera and film it.
