Not me. I’ll only butter a tuna melt or grilled cheese sandwich. I’ll eat butter on bread at a restaurant from time to time but lately just prefer to dip it into a vinegar dressing if available. Or I’ll melt butter if lobster is on sale.
And actually, we rarely have butter. The wife mainly buys some kind of margarine. Not sure if it is any “better for you” or worse. We do have real butter she uses for some cooking. I don’t even butter the pan before making eggs. That drives the missus mad :-)
Spread butter on a slice of bread than sprinkle with sugar. Lights out delicious!
Margarine is bad for you if it has hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated fat in it. You might want to check the ingredients on the label.

I’ll ask for butter on the side for my potatoes. Hash browns in most restaurants tend to be dry. Putting a couple pats of butter on them makes them taste much better.
Margarine? God, whatever for?
