I just saw a story about that a couple of days ago. They showed pictures of GW carcasses with their livers removed in a surprisingly delicate manner by orcas.
Their was a whole hour documentary on Nat Geo or Discovery a year ago discussing the Orcas eating the livers out of Great White sharks — that started in the waters off Washington State and British Columbia — not too many great whites there any way — and really NONE now after a multi-year campaign by the Orcas to systematically kill off the Great Whites by eating their livers...
And then the Orcas on the other side of the world (south of the Cape of Good Hope) started doing the same thing. There was a lot of speculation that given the intelligence of the Orcas, that perhaps a Great White eating one too many Orca calves has resulted in some form of “Final Solution” consensus and implementation among the Orcas.
Fascinating to think about.
