It is a COLD virus; there is no such thing as a "cough virus."
For 98.2% of the people who catch Covid-19, it is survivable. However, a 1.8% death rate from a highly infectious virus is super high from the public health perspective, regardless of whether you personally think a 1 in 50 chance of dying is acceptable.
Around one third of people who survive Covid-19 end up with long-term disabilities from it: severe fatigue that lasts for months, as well as heart, lung, neurological, and other organ damage that may be permanent. Maybe you don't care if you die, but what about the prospect of never being able to breathe properly again? Does that concern you at all?
