For a long time, I’ve speculated that liberalism/leftism might be caused by Toxoplasmosis, a protozoa common to cats that can control the behavior of rodents. Its predominant ability is by secreting two brain chemicals, it can retrain mice and rats to be attracted to things they should instinctively avoid.
These two brain chemicals are also important to human brains. Which would explain why liberals and leftists are “across the board” attracted to foolish and dangerous things, like embracing our national enemies and violent criminals.
