I fully agree that the new generation(s) of pro golfers offer little excitement, with only an occasional bit of drama.
Rahm, Spieth, Thomas, DeChambeau and maybe a couple of others at least display some emotion. Most of the others seem to be on sedatives.

Apparently, CBS has a special arrangement with The Masters No, they have an exclusive contract with the PGA. The deal will value the total package of rights at about $700 million per year until 2030 giving them and NBC exclusive rights to cover all PGA events........
CBS will broadcast an average of 19 tour events per year over the course of the deal and NBC will average eight.

There must be language in the contract stipulating that CBS annually proclaim and exemplify a unique important event has occurred with regard to black golfers (and the systemic racism they endure) that never ever has happened before.
