EXPLAINER: Expert uses imagery to explain Floyd’s death

A key witness in the trial of an ex-Minneapolis police officer in the death of George Floyd used videos, animations and other imagery to argue that Floyd died of a lack of oxygen that damaged his brain and stopped his heart.

I would like to see that scientifically verified. Someone instructed to put varying amounts of pressure on someone else’s neck in imitation of the Chauvin/Floyd interaction, and then show a video of it to this witness (Dr. Martin Tobin), and see how accurate his estimates were.

“covid does not destroy the heme in red blood cells” One study said it did. That explained the low blood oxygen levels.

For those people it meant it was a race between the bone marrow and immune system against the virus. I should have written interferes with the the ability of heme to bind oxygen.
