Remember that there’s a permanent Prohibited Area over the real WH, as well as over locations where a real president is. Normally there should never be any flyovers.
Having said that, when pilots are buried at nearby Arlington, jets often do a flyover of the cemetery which is just on the opposite side of the Potomac. It’s possible that the flyover noise came from a funeral, and a funeral flyover would not violate the Prohibited Area.
I did a search to find out if there was a burial ceremony at Arlington today and it does not appear there was one. You or anyone can try digging around, there is a schedule for today that I had to download to open, and there was no burial or funeral ceremony today on that schedule.

Hmm. There is a window to click on to see a date, and no way to click today’s date. From April 17-21, the only dates in the drop down menu, have dozens and dozens. Surely there is not a flyover for each of them, that would be at least ten a day.
What am I missing here? I downloaded the Daily Schedule for today twice and it is empty.
