Every day I am more convinced that we are on the threshold, or IN, the Great Tribulation. I keep reminding myself that I must make an effort to reflect the Gospels... obviously I don't always shine but it must be so. Christians are coming under increasing persecution and it is, for now, a lot worse in other parts of the world.
It is stunning to see how quickly things are deteriorating. I read today that the Bitem justice department is reversing Trump's decision and re-addressing the Little Sisters of the Poor to attack their religious beliefs. Christians cannot give in to such he!!ish attacks! Let them send us to prison so all the world can see what sort of country we have become.
We’re only seeing a very small indication of what that will look like....we’re far from it actually beginning....there are other events yet to occur.

Yup, agreed. And the best we can do is remember all that Christ sacrificed for us and try to reflect the Gospels like you said.
That doesn’t mean roll over and expose our bellies, after all Christ showed great anger at the temple con artists.
Sadly we’ve let our religious leaders lead us into complacency and happy happy joy joy, rather than teach us to be warriors.
The friends we went to dinner with, we all grew up in the same denomination. Went to same Christian college, and all re-met at the same church here in San Diego.
We left that church years ago, because the pastor was spoon feeding baby formula. Switched to Shadow Mountain Community Church, which was good until they remodeled and put in some weird one eye stained glass with an upside down cross. And they say.. no no, it’s just distorted and modern and it represents the Eye of God. Ummm. So we don’t go anymore.
But back to our friends, the pastor at First Church is super liberal and started preaching how great Bidem was from the pulpit, which fits all the lib professors at the college.. but many people we all have known for years and years have left due to that, including our friends.
