The definition you just made up on your own? Or what? I've asked where you even got that, since it isn't from any authoritative source I've seen and since it's about 40 years out of date. So where are you getting this out of date concept from?

Presentation of an antigen to dendritic cells is the same method of immune response invocation across the board for all vaccines as well as pathogenic infection. The only difference is in how the antigen comes to be presented to the dendritic cells. Once the dendritic cells have the antigen, the process continues in identical fashion regardless of how it got there.
