As noted prior, COVID-19 threads have a significant signal to noise ratio.
There’s enough sourced information out there for each person to make a data informed decision.
But at the end of the day, it is each person’s decision. And FReepers need to accept that.
Some of the worst offending issues are 1) mask wearing and 2) vaccines.
Good grief, people. Don’t get so wrapped around the axle that others don’t see COVID-19 issues the same as you or don’t make the same decisions as you.
Unfortunately, there are FReepers on both sides that seem to not only disagree with the “other sides” but also antagonize and make the issues personal with insults and threats. A flame war erupts, rendering the thread essentially useless.
Provide references for your positions and argue as politely as possible.

Perfectly fine with people making a different decision that I would. My only issue is with those who spread fearmongering nonsense in order to trick or scare others into changing their decision.
The freedom to make your own informed decisions about what’s best for your own personal health and wellbeing is important and worth preserving. That freedom is not respected by those who use fear to drown out facts.

I don't care if people I don't know get vaccine drips over the course of six months. I have no desire to assist or prevent unfortunate souls from doing anything.
