CDC doesn't do that; a medical examiner does, typically with the input of the physician who performed any treatment on the deceased. It typically takes a few days or weeks to complete an investigation, depending on the complexity of the case and the medical history of the individual.

Okay, then VAERS should be full of 'events' with EVIDENCE of whether the vax caused the events or not. But somehow its not.

Bro. You're failing bigly. Can't have it both ways.

Now, I gotta run. I'm sure we'll get to argue about this again. This seems to be a full-time gig with you. See ya round the covid campfire.

You: "VAERS should be full of 'events' with EVIDENCE of whether the vax caused the events or not. But somehow its not."

The people who actually run VAERS: "VAERS accepts all reports without judging whether the event was caused by the vaccine." Guide to Interpreting VAERS Data

Clearly you're not understanding the VAERS data, what it is, and how it's actually used. But you're certainly smart enough to understand what the link I've provided many times is saying, so I'm left to ask if you're simply choosing not to acknowledge what the people who run VAERS say about the data in it, what it means, and how it should be used.
