I think this may potentially be the biggest story in Physics in decades, yeah even bigger than the higgs. Higgs just helped finalize a prediction, this is pointing us in directions heretofore unknown.

Yes, and it will be fun if new particles will be added to the standard model. The present results are from Run 1 and gave 4.2 sigma. The results from Run 2 and 3 are due within a year and data from Run 4 is collected at present. Then we will know if this is just a statistical arror or a new particle.
