They don't want the best, they want skin color and plumbing to determine who gets to fly the plane.
It's like today's commercials.
While I don't watch very much TV, when I do, I notice that there are more multi-racial and black couples than white couples doing commercials for autos and home products.
I live in W PA, and while there are some multi-racial couples in real life, it is nothing like TV.

As a fellow W PA resident, I can echo that. According to the TV, apparently it's the LAW that you can't have an SO of the same race.

I never see white couples anymore and all the kids are non-white. BTW, I work at NOT buying products being sold by these WOKE companies that do not include people who look like me in their ads. However, I end up buying a lot of fresh food and generic household products. Quite a change from the days when the only times you saw dark faces in an ad were for Salem cigarettes and Four Roses booze.
I remember a few years ago when they pushed black women into air traffic control training. I don't think it worked out very well as the voices I hear on my friend's plane are still white men, and an occasional white woman.
