A friend of my daughter was just offered a job at a big Bitcoin company. He is being recruited from another BIG tech company (one of the big three.). The money being invested in the crypto infrastructure is just nuts. And it’s investment money from old, big, conservative firms and trusts.
I bought in on a lark in 2013. I look at my holdings nd just shake my head. I NEVER thought it would get this high. Conservative valuation by year end is another double. I will believe it when I see it. But these are not tulips, as some would have think.

We may be witnessing the end of fiat currency by governments. Cryptocurrencies may grow in value to equal the true value of all worldwide currency in circulation. Investors haven't trusted bogus currency for decades now and since Obama in 2008, that now includes the U.S. Dollar. All that was missing were the systems to value, trade, and compare to other currencies.
Thanks, interesting. Since the big tech lefties already circumvent the powers of the gov't as assigned in our Constitution, having them control currency probably won't be a problem. :^) If I may ask, was the investment done as a market trade, like into an EFT?
