Rep Matt Gaetz is expected to be indicted within the next few weeks as former Florida official and friend Joel Greenberg is believed to have turned on the congressman in the sex trafficking investigation against him, a source close to the probe tells DailyMail.com.
Greenberg, who was elected Seminole County Tax Collector in 2016, is currently in jail awaiting trial after being slapped with a string of charges last year including sex trafficking a minor between the age of 14 and 17.
Earlier this week Gaetz was revealed to be under investigation for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old - who on Thursday was reported to be the same girl Greenberg is accused of sex trafficking, according to The New York Times.

Yeah, sure. Thugs assault people on the streets and burn down whole blocks of Seattle and other cities and are never even arrested for their violent crimes.
Everyday the news media reports some thug convicted of murder being turned loose to kill someone else. Just hours ago we learned that a convicted murderer of an NYC police officer has now been appointed to Ithaca’s Police Reform Board.
If every man and woman 21 years old or older who engaged in sexual activity with males and females under age 18 were sent to prison, I suspect the cost of building enough new prisons to incarcerate them all would almost exceed the amount the Biden family is said to have extorted from foreign governments!
All that glitters is not gold, but the swamp will manufacture anything they want to if they want to bring down someone. And a scum like Greenberg, on whom they have a slam dunk case, will say anything to save himself. I’m keeping my opinion that Gaetz is clean, until I see or hear actual evidence to the contrary. He’s a little too shiny and slick for me, but he has rattled democrat AND rino cages on behalf of conservatives, fearlessly, for years. And the rinos who are salivating to get rid of him are disgusting pigs. Lizard Cheney and Cave-in McCarthy are despicable, just barely human beings. I hope they, and ALL rinos are primaried out of office, by strong conservative candidates.

I will say this. Liz Cheney is deep state. Her father probably has people he knows somewhere in the government that don’t like what Matt Gaetz has been saying about his daughter. End of story.

Four five years, Trump has never shied away from calling DoJ harassment of people he knows all kinds of colorful names. And yet, he hasn’t said anything about Matt Gaetz.
Even beyond the silence of Trump, his family and his inner-circule, supportive public comments for Gaetz from notable conservatives is pretty scarce. Levin, Hannity, Hewitt, Bongino have all been uncharacteristically, shocking silent on the story.
As best I can tell, only TWO House republicans have said anything supportive and on-the-record of Gaetz: Jim Jordan and Marjorie Green. I believe both those comments came almost immediately after the Times’ story was initially run. Neither have said much since.
