Looks like a Wahoo to me.

The fish is the name sake of Dudley 'Mush' Morton's boat USS Wahoo (SS-238) lost when it was struck near the conning tower by an aerial bomb in the La Pérouse Strait while exiting the Sea of Japan. LCDR Morton received four Navy Crosses among other awards. With six war patrols, he ranked third among the Navy's top skippers, credited with 19 ships and 54,683 tons sunk, per JANAC.

Definitely, this ship has the wahoo shape and the fishbra was a wahoo as you said. It looked like it was caught with a mono leader, hard to do.
