The problem we all have here is that none of us are on the scene watching the containers come off the ship or someone opening them. Or, not watching any of that since it may not be happening!! So everything we have is second third or fourth hand. It’s tough to depend on that kind of verification.
I have to think there’s definitely something “to” the Ever Given story... because of so many “coincidences”, like
- the shipping company name
- the call sign
- the captain’s pre-accident “rude doodles”
- the “accident” itself, and all the worldwide attention it aroused
- it’s still being stopped in the lake in the middle of the canal, not hurrying on to its destination.
So in my mind, there’s a “there” there... but what/who is in the containers, who all are the parties involved, etc., God only knows.
And we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
