this is exactly what we must do....view all sources, and then do our own critical thinking....not everything we read is true but I would bet many if not most are true, especially if multiple people are stating it in different ways..
My brand of “critical thinking” tends to go somewhat opposite. When I see multiple people stating the same thing in different ways, the cynical side of me thinks there must be a common source (which may or may not be true), which the multiple people are then stating in different ways in order to make it seem more authentic or original, when it’s just a re-hash of another’s thoughts.
But maybe that’s just me. The reality is probably somewhere in-between. That’s why I “wait and see what happens.” ;)
no I agree....when you hear or read multiple stories about the same thing you do wonder if all of them are using the same source....
I just disregard so much....because I'm an emotional person, I tend to disagree with things that scare me or depress me without any sign of hope...
