There was a large paramedic school in Boston that use to send their students to Detroit to do ride-alongs with us.
They had this list of skills they had to perform before returning to Boston.
If the list was completed they could return early, they had 2 weeks with us.
Intubations
I.Vs, starting and maintenance.
Pushing drugs
Delivering babies
Then they had numerous illnesses and injuries on the list too.
We were amused at not only their accents and terminology but most completed their list in a week. LOL They were stunned at how busy we were yet we held it all together.
I guess Detroit is no Boston.
I'd be ashamed to claim either one.
