This is really a first for us! Our kids are both productive with good jobs. Our son with grandsons in Chicago, has not been out of their neighborhood and have worked from home completely. His in laws do live in near so they have seen them and are getting shots. This is the issue I think. We are not getting anymore than we have. We will talk to them as soon as we cool down and won’t say anything we will regret.

I was really talking to anyone who is being held hostage by their kids attitudes about this. Or their kids holding their kids over their heads.
I am not meaning to upset anyone and I know I’m different. I’m a redhead and sometimes I wish more people had that red headed attitude.. “One does not piss a redhead off and expect to live.” 🤣
I guess my parenting is.. “Would I tolerate this at age 7, 12, or 16? No?? Then I won’t tolerate it now.
We just aren’t doing our kids any favors by letting them steamroll over us.
