I’m sure he is. I know that it takes several years after one quits drinking for the brain cells to regenerate, I don’t know about drug use.
My oldest did a lot in his 20s..he’s got some issues, but he still drinks. He doesn’t handle problems well and he did before the drugs.
There’s a place? On FB that has recovery stories. I read one on GAB about this obese alcoholic who nearly died, was put in a coma for a few weeks, woke up , had lost 100 lbs, had detoxed . Incredible stories. Really heartwarming.
