Good work on the mask-dodging !

Did you see anyone using clear face shields mounted on glasses frames?

Folks with medical exemptions use those; there’s a lady that works at one of the markets I go to, that wears one.

What part of Texas did you go to?

I’m in Texas also, near the DFW metroplex.

I did see face shields but always in combination with a mask. One man, who seemed to be in his low-30's in front and across the aisle from me had a mask, a shield, a hoodie with the hood up, and latex gloves. He's either in a very high-risk category or he's drunk the CDC/CNN covid koolaid to the point of severe inebriation. I took a photo and you can see the wrinkles in the gloves on his right hand. He's so covered up that I think he's unidentifiable, so don't feel I'm violating his privacy by posting this photo. I don't believe he was immune compromised based on his lively movements boarding and deplaning, but he may have been going to visit someone who is. It's more likely that he was a frightened young man who watches too much TV.

What part of Texas did you go to?

I stayed in The Woodlands and managed to find things to do and places to eat in Conroe, Humble, Spring, Bammel and Montgomery. I changed planes in DFW for my flight into Texas. I was disappointed to see only one man wearing a cowboy hat. Maybe I have to be farther north in the state to see more?
