it’s on the third day not three days later
The term Sabbath day does not just mean Saturday but can also denote a special religious day. So it could have even been on a Thursday that he was crucified.

Bingo. There were two Sabbaths that week. The high Sabbath of Passover and the weekly Sabbath.
Mostly, we need to know that Jesus is our Sabbath. We rest in Him.
