The three hours of darkness started at 12 noon and Jesus gave up the ghost at 3PM Friday. If you really believe that Jesus wasn't dead on Friday you are wrong. The first day ended at dusk on Friday. The second day ended at dusk on Saturday. The third day began at dusk on Saturday. Jesus rose the third day. You should read the gospel accounts before making such rash statements.

You are correct.

He did die on Friday because it was requested that his body be released before the Sabbath for burial.
Sabbath begins at sundown.

Where is the 3 hours of darkness found? I appreciate it.
