“They have only recommended it for patients who are at extremely high risk.”
Very reasonable.
I get attacked by the most extreme (and silly) anti-vaxxers here but I’ve not taken the vaccine and don’t think those not at risk should.
I’m very glad my 90 year old Mother could and did.
Now how high a risk should persuade someone to take it?
I’d go for anyone at moderate risk since the results have been so good so far.
But that may change...
Ladies and gentlemen, you are witnessing the vaxxer shuffle.
See them dance, see them prance.

I believe that I had it in late January of last year. I felt like crap with all of the classic symptoms for a few days. I know several other people who had the same experience. I won’t take it.
Really? What's extreme anti-vaxxer Fauci's screen name?

I think those who are low risk should get vaccinated. This COVID-19 is unique in the way its contagion infects others while it’s in its incubation stage. People are contagious when they are asymptomatic. And people who are unvaccinated can be contagious for a longer time before they realize they are sick and need to quarantine themselves from others.
A vaccinated person can still get infected and start shedding the virus before the programmed antibodies shuts them down. Once incubation stage is aborted the window of opportunity is closed down. The good thing about the vaccine is when the window of opportunity is shortened that lowers the virus’s chances of reproduction through a new host. I call it viral birth control.
