"When the parties involve the NY Times, FBI, DOJ and a politician, robust skepticism is warranted, of everyone."

On the contrary. When the NYeT and the alphabets aligned against Trump, nearly everything Trump said was true nearly every time. Grade it at Rush's 99.8% truth rating by The Sullivan Group.

My appreciation for Gaetz has grown considerably in the past year or so, mostly because he represents Trump-like fortitude in his Committee assignments whether the camera is on or off; and he has been a real asset on Bannon compared to Huey, Dewey and Louie.

Just to be clear, I was speaking in the context of a ‘sex related crime/incident.’ That why I said in a ‘case like this.’

I’ve been burned so many times in the past by politicians unequivocally denying some kind of sexual misconduct/scandal, that I know longer give them the benefit of the doubt particularly when law enforcement is actually investigating something.

Could this be a calculated political hit-job just like Kavanagh? Sure. The FBI has proven they’re not above that kind of thing, at all. But, I think caution is warranted considering that a Gaetz associate’s indictment last year on the same charge (along with several other charges), warrants some caution when evaluating this issue.

Additionally, when Katy Hill got into that ‘throuple’ debacle a couple of years ago, there was one GOP Congressman who defended her behavior. Who was that Congressman? Matt Gaetz. That struck me as odd. Still does.
