He wasn’t evasive. He flat out lied.
I used the word ‘evasive’ rather than ‘lie’ because he ignored Carlson’s question and instead talked about when he became aware of this extortion plot he’s alleging.
He never really gave any information about, or even acknowledged his awareness of this ‘sex traffic’ investigation. He didn’t deny it exists (the investigation) either. Instead, he only vehemently denied the substance of the allegation.
It was a peculiar few minutes, for sure.
