If base level immunity is strong enough, maybe no antibodies are needed, and so maybe none will be formed. It does not mean one will become ill when faced with another variant. I personally have enough vit C on hand to beat just about any virus. And my wellness MD has the treatments for more serious cases
I have also seen strong warnings that the use of supplements (with the exception of vitamine D) for the purposes of warding off the virus has yet, not been supported by scientific evidence. Such evidence may have come, but I have not looked at anything recent.
I think that warning is considering the biological workings of the aviolar macrophages during the incubation process when the virus shows no symptoms. So far, the workings of vitamin D in this process have had good understanding. The aviolar macrophages release Interluken 1,6,8 TNF alpha and gamma interferon. The extent of this release is dependent on the genetic makeup of the individual and vitamin D levels. How this release occurs, if it is the dangerous pathway, can lead to hypoxema and hypocarbia causing dangerous consequences: ARDS leading to septic shock and finally multi-organ failure. The level of vitamin D will play an important role in this process.
Do make sure your vitamin D level is good (2,000 IU/day:

As always use multivitamins for your general health.
Don’t forget vitamin D. 2,000 IUs per day is a good dosage to keep you up to effective levels to fight a COVID infection. The vaccine fights the virus during the incubation phase, when you become contagious. It is like wearing a condom.
