I was TAC (ACC today) and worked in shop on avionics for the F-111A. Our Automatic test stations were run from a central computer called CENPAC. CENPAC could control up to ten test stations simultaneously.

We were told that the CENPACS were cast-offs from SAC and used to control 10 Titan II missile silos. Don't know if it was true, but it always made a good story.
