Bait? I’m assuming you are quite a bit younger, because you seem (may just be my perception) to have an idea that since it mostly affects us seniors, there’s really not much to get all het up about. If my perception is wrong, then I apologize.
Your perception is wrong in this case. FWIW I may not be a senior, but I have a condition that might make a viral infection a horrible thing for me personally. I even went on a hard core diet to shed some excess weight since that may also be a contributing factor (though I have my doubts since half or more of the population is “overweight or obese” according to the BMI calculators).
If I stated something offensive I apologize though I am not quite sure what gave you that perception.
